Tax Deductions and Quarterly Payments: Everything You Need to Know


Do you know which federal tax deductions you’re entitled to? Should you count your home office as a deduction? How do you calculate a quarterly tax payment? When you know the answers to these questions, you can budget more effectively throughout the year and avoid IRS penalties.

Join Freelancers Union and tax expert Howard Samuels, CPA MST as he discusses what federal deductions business owners/sole proprietors are entitled to and how to handle making estimated payments.

Howard Samuels, CPA MST, is a partner in S&C LLP, a New York City based certified public accounting firm providing accounting, bookkeeping and tax services for individuals and small- to medium-sized businesses. Howard has a Masters Degree in Taxation from Pace University and holds his undergraduate degree in accounting from Syracuse University. Howard has been practicing accounting and tax for approximately 18 years.


We will email you instructions on how to join the Internet version of the seminar, how to join via the phone, and the presentation the day before the online seminar. You will need both your computer and phone for all online seminars. Without the phone connection, you will not be able to hear the speakers.
