Freelancers Union strengthens its position for advocacy

Advocacy has always been one of the most important things that Freelancers Union does: we propose policy solutions to the challenges that independent workers face, and we represent our group’s concerns to leaders in government.

Now, we’ve taken a big step toward becoming a stronger advocate for the interests of freelancers.  The IRS has granted us 501(c)4 nonprofit status, which means that we have more freedom to lobby government and participate in elections.
